My Story From Broke wanna-be-writer to Metaphysical Psychologist & bestselling Author Goes A Little Something Like This…

I was gifted with the clear knowing that I was a writer, long before I knew what it would entail to be one (& long before my spiritual awakening in 2008).

I dreamed of being an editor at Seventeen magazine (the coolest mag back in my day) and found myself saying yes to any job and to any possibility that would let me write.

My mother believed this to be a terrible choice for my future and had no problem telling me as much.

My sophomore year Global Studies teacher Mr. Dean told me not to waste my time with a journalism degree, because there were – and I quote, “1,000 journalism majors without jobs in Oregon” at that time (1993).

Initially, I believed them both.

But that didn’t stop me from devouring Shakespeare, Poe and Whitman, and later Rumi, Hafiz and Paulo Coelho.

It didn’t stop me from reading everything I could get my hands on and filling countless journals with my poetry, short stories, ideas and curiosities.

I began at a community college studying marketing and PR, a way to write and supposedly – from what the adults told me – make a good living.

I worked in that arena for seven years before I finally began taking side gigs as a freelance writer.

It was during my Saturn Return that I left my mega-watt corporate job and went full-time as a freelance writer.

The kiss of death many told me. It would never work out for me they shouted.

But, for me, it was not – because it was my Destiny – and so I thrived, Receiving more money and having more freedom than I had in a 9-5.

I then enrolled at Portland State University and finished my Bachelors degree Summa Cum Laude in English & Women’s Studies.

I continued on writing as a freelancer when a health crisis took me deeper into my calling – being of service to others in a more direct manner and a spiritual awakening. Healing energy began pouring out of my hands, and suddenly I “knew” things from a Higher Source of consciousness.

My world was rocked. I sold everything, moved to Kauai and delved in my own enlightenment (which began with 12-step, having been raised in an addicted home environment) and into energy medicine and quantum physics. I did so with the same fervor that writing had taken me through in the first part of my life.

THIS DIVINE EXPLORATION TOOK ME ON A RADICAL SPIRITUAL JOURNEY OF MEDITATION, SACRED SPIRITUAL PRACTICE (ALL LED BY MY INTUITION AND HIGHER WISDOM, NOT BY ANY TRADITION OR DOGMA) AND DEEPER CONNECTION WITH NON-PHYSICAL ENERGY.

As healing energy began flowing out of my hands after my 2008 psychic surgery in Brazil, I began to explore all things non-physical and through this exploration – a series of synchronistic turns led me to the energy medicine modality of BodyTalk.

Immediately, I knew it was the modality for me to pay it forward and share healing expansion to more Souls.

1,000+ individuals later, I was guided to shift yet again, this time by creating a focus on Sacred Love Activism as the vehicle for spreading more Love on this plane of consciousness through Love Activism in partnership with key charities/organizations, emotional empowerment tools and more.

And then, expanding from there, I was guided to complete my Masters degree in Metaphysical Science and my Doctorate in Metaphysical Psychology to complement my energy medicine work.

During all of this, I was guided to co-create a Metaphysical Psychology Advanced Technology tool that you can use as a healer, artist, creative to share with those who are called to you.

Still, through it all, I write.

I am a messenger for Source with the support of Mary Magdalene, Yeshua & the Highest Light.

I journal. I write poetry inspired through my connection to the Holy Beloved.

I write emails for my Sacred Sunday monthly email service that I provide for free every month (sign-up here if you’d like in on that action).

And I create resources for you and others called to the Sacred Spiritual path, which you can find here and via my conscious eating site, Metaphysical Menu.
